THE AU SPECIALIZED TECHNICAL COMMITEE ON AGRICULTURE, RURAL DEVELOPMENT, WATER AND ENVIRONMENT

The meeting of the Bureau will be held on 8th July 2021 to examine the report of the Experts, propose recommendations to be tabled to the ministerial meeting and consider the draft agenda of the Extra-Ordinary Session of the STC.

An Extra-Ordinary Session of the STC will be held on 15th July 2021 with the following objectives:

• validating the draft Africa Common Position;
• providing guidance on practical steps towards the pre-summit;
• providing guidance on reviewing, finalization and submission of the Africa Common Position;
• providing guidance on the active participation of AU Member States during the UNFSS.
