AFRICAN UNION SAFGRAD, in collaboration with the Government of Burkina Faso through the Ministry of African Integration (MIABE), AU CIEFFA and ECOWAS, organizes the AFRICAN INTEGRATION DAYS in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from 24 to 28 May 2019.
The celebrations that are held within the framework of AFRICA DAY 2019 concern very attractive activities including the following:
– An official launching ceremony of the Africa Day organized on Saturday, May 25, 2019 starting from 09H at the Conference Hall of Ouaga 2000 under the effective chairmanship of the President of Burkina Faso, HE Mr. Roch Marc Christian KABORE. A public lecture led by eminent specialists on the theme of African Integration will immediately follow this official ceremony.
– From Friday, May 24, to Tuesday May 28: organization of an exhibition of products and African dishes at the “Maison du Peuple”;
– A Running (Cross Populaire) followed by an aerobics session to be held at “Place de la Nation” Square on Friday, May 24, 2019 starting from 4 PM, followed by a Football match representing final of the Cup of Embassies in Burkina Faso;
– It will also be organized a radio quiz competition with Ahmed Kossa of Radio OMEGA on Friday May 24, 2019 as well as many other media programs;
– Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in Ouaga 2000, Public lecture on: the state of the free movement of people and goods in the ECOWAS region.
