South Africa Freedom Day in Ouagadougou: AU SAFGRAD Coordinator participated to the celebration


On the occasion of the celebration of Freedom Day considered as the National Day of the Republic of South Africa, AU-SAFGRAD has been invited to participate in the event. Many participants mainly from the Diplomatic Corps in Burkina Faso, among which AU-SAFGRAD Coordinator attended the ceremony.

The AU-SAFGRAD Head of Office seized the opportunity to congratulate H.E. Ambassador Gangumzi TSENGIWE, the Government as well as the people of the Republic of South Africa for this great and historical achievement.

The freedom day in South Africa commemorates the first post-apartheid elections held on April 27th, 1994. This year marks the 20 years anniversary of this historical event.
